August 1st Here They Come

Although I doubted the kids, I was shocked to find the barn door open in the morning. I had made double-dog sure the door was closed the night before when I fed the animals. I don’t know what’s going on – maybe the door is broken? It doesn’t seem broken.

    Kimona  spent the day surveying the Cascade Toads as they begin their migration.
